About Me

Hi! My name is Luke Power. I am from Liverpool, which is in the north west of England. I have been collecting the Lord of the rings models since February 2004 and already have quite a large collection. Recently I have been playing with the battle company rules published in White Dwarf 297. I am really enjoying them and have a new scenario in my head although it needs to be written and play tested. The companies that I have being using are the Dol Amroth and Isengard companies. Both have had a range of success when they have met. I will soon put up a list of the models that I own and hopefully some images when I get the time.

Welcome aboard Feanaro. I've been trying out the BC rules too, and really like them. Something I think personalized cards for each character in your company would be really handy. Kinda like "building your deck" for other card games, you'd have a card for each model with his/her experience.

I'd love to see what you have in mind. Post it up on the Gaming/Community Scenarios section.

The scenario is basically one side is the defender and the other the attacker. The defender has to protect a strategic position whether it is a ruined hideout or something. the Attacker has to take this position. i have not thought of how this could be done but it might be either to reduce them to 25% or whipe them out completely (though this might make it too long). But i'll do some work on it when i get the chance i will post it up when it is ready

Welcome to the site FŽanŠro TinehtelŽ! Those Battle company rules are great aren't they, unfortunately for me I only have one opponent though

-Lord Aragorn Elessar671
Funny thing is i have played with the companies by myself!!! Its still fun to see how they do though. I also think that it is a nice way of slowly expanding your collection. I will list the paople in the companies as soon as i get a chance so you can see how well they have done.

Hey and welcome to the site FŽanŠro TinehtelŽ. I'm looking foward to seeing some pics of your minis on this page. But to post pictures you will need to sgin up on an image hosting website ( I and lots others use www.photobucket.com )and then enter in the URL into where you edit the page. Can't wait to see your minis!

Where did u get the name FŽanŠro TinehtelŽ from?

-Captain Of Gondor
Its my name in elvish that i fnd out from a site that translates you name into elvish. I used to use the name Elessar (after Aragorn) and while i like that name and use it i prefer this one as it feels more personal. Whether its right or not is another matter though!! But i like it none the less:) Hence also the reason why i have those stats above tailored to an elf!!

FŽanŠro TinehtelŽ
OMG! I got my name, Nolofinwe, off that site too! And I like my elvish name because it's personal also. That's exactly how I felt. And I was going to create some stats for my character too.

-Captain Of Gondor
Hello

have you been living in england all your life do you now how many times you have to wound a mumak to make it run away

-Uruk-haiman
Yes i have lived here all my life (in england). With regards to the mumak you only need to wound it once and hope tha it fails its courage test to stampede (and possibl move off the table) Other than that i think that the mumak has 10 wounds and so you would need to remove all wounds to kill it. Hope this helps.

FŽanŠro TinehtelŽ
thanks i think some one changed my site because if you go onto all users my name isn't there would you know who could have done that.

-Uruk-haiman

The fact that you can edit every page on this website leaves everyone's work open to some sort of manipulation, I wouldn't worry about it Uruk-haiman, just add your name back on the list and if it reoccurs, then change your name. Good luck and welcome to Feanor of the Noldor (FeanaroTinehtele?).
